Orco buys Warsaw warehouse

Orco Fund Retail has acquired for an undisclosed amount a warehouse owned by Ozarow Business Center (OBC) in bankruptcy. The Polish Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets team advised the Trustee and Creditors' Councils on the sale.

OBC is a warehouse and distribution centre of around 35,300 m². The project is located about 900 meters off the major arterial route leading to Warsaw and forming part of the Poznan - Berlin express route (E-30).

Tomasz Puch, associate director at Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets, said: 'I believe that in the Trustee-run process, which was complicated due to the nature of bankruptcy law and procedures in Poland, we managed to bring a couple of interesting offers for the consideration of the Trustee and, at the end, to secure very good offer on behalf of the bankruptcy estate from Orco.'
