Orco Germany announced this week that it has awarded the construction contract for its EUR 100 mln 'Sky Office' office development in Düsseldorf to Hochtief Construction. Hochtief will begin construction of the office building on the Kennedydamm next week, and the project is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2009. Overlooking the Rhine and centrally located between the city centre, the airport and the Exhibition Centre, the Kennedydamm has become a prime Düsseldorf office location.

On completion, the 89 metre-high 'Sky Office' will comprise around 37,000 m2 of office space over 23 floors and 430 parking spaces. Around 30% of the space has already been let to McKinsey & Company.
