Orchard Street Investment Management has arranged loan financing with the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) for a 2008-vintage fund.

The UK-based commercial property investment manager secured a new £69 mln (€82 mln) loan with RBS for the Orchard Street UK Special Situations Fund l, which was formed in 2008.

The loan refinances an existing loan with RBS, which was due to mature at the end of 2013.

The loan is secured against five UK properties: the Royals Shopping Centre in Southend; Market Walk Shopping Centre in Chorley; Mallard Road Retail Park in Bournemouth; the Meadows Retail Park in Chelmsford and St David’s Retail Park in Bangor.
