Kemper will be tasked with the execution of business plans for existing assets and the purchase of core-plus and value-add properties as well as brownfield prospects in Germany.

Based in Frankfurt, Kemper joined Verdion in September 2020 as senior investment manager.

He was responsible for the identification, sourcing, analysis, negotiation and execution of investments as well as transaction management for acquisitions and divestments for Verdion’s European Logistics Fund 1 (VELF 1).

With a fund volume of €310 mln, VELF 1 makes investments in urban logistics and real estate in well-known locations in Northern Europe.

Verdion is currently raising capital for a second European fund, which should dispose of much bigger assets than the first one.

Florian Stöbe, head of investment - Germany at Verdion, says: ‘In addition to expanding his scope in acquisitions, Oliver Kemper’s promotion reflects his wide-ranging expertise and contribution to the continued growth of our investment management business.’
