Specialist healthcare investor Octopus Real Estate has secured a site from IM Properties in the UK's West Midlands for the construction of an 80 bed care home, subject to planning.
Financial details were not disclosed.
Located in IM's Blythe Valley Park development, southeast of Birmingham, plans for a care home including extensive landscaping have been submitted to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, Octopus said.

'The potential for a care home in this area is huge – Blythe Valley benefits from feeling incredibly rural with the amount of green, open space. Yet at the same time, it’s also really well connected to Solihull and its surrounding suburbs,' Heath added.
Blythe Valley Park is an established 2 million ft2 (185,800 m2) mixed use business park, surrounded by over 122 acres of parkland.
