Property adviser Savills has appointed Anders Nyström to head its Swedish property management team based in Stockholm, effective from August 2012.

Property adviser Savills has appointed Anders Nyström to head its Swedish property management team based in Stockholm, effective from August 2012.

Nyström, who has 17 years' experience in the real estate industry, joins the firm as a director and will be responsible for developing the management business in Sweden, expanding the existing client base and integrating it with Savills' other services such as leasing, investment, valuation and project management. He will also work closely with the firm's pan-European property management team.

Nyström joins Savills from Swedish property firm Einar Mattsson where he headed the management department and was responsible for managing the company's real estate assets alongside a number of external client properties. Prior to this he worked at Gyllenforsen and Newsec Asset Management.

Savills currently has 600,000 m2 under management in Sweden and over 15 million m2 across the rest of Europe.
