Global investment manager Nuveen Real Estate has acquired a newly developed logistics asset in Moerdijk, the Netherlands, from Accres Real Estate.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Situated in the West Brabant Corridor, enjoying connectivity to Rotterdam Harbour and access to Germany and Belgium by boat, train and road, the asset includes 15,000 m2 of modern logistics space, divided into two units.

The property has achieved Breeam Very Good certification and will have solar panels installed over the coming months.

The industrial hub is currently let to two tenants, both logistics providers, on five to 10-year leases.

Nuveen Real Estate now has nearly €600 mln of logistics assets under management in the Netherlands.

Nuveen Real Estate was advised by De Mik Bedrijfshuisvesting (broker), Houthoff (lawyer) and Drees&Sommer (technical). The seller was advised by CMS.
