Tech-backed hospitality platform Numa has acquired online platform Yays from Proprium Capital Partners in several countries.
Yays, based in Amsterdam and with subsidiaries in Germany, France, Spain, and Belgium, operates and lets 489 serviced apartments in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, with another 124 units to be opened shortly.
The parties agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Berlin-based Numa operates a digital hospitality platform through which travelers can book modern apartments and boutique studios.
Numa has largely automated its operational processes and, following the acquisition, operates more than 5,200 units in European A-cities, including Berlin, Munich, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, and Vienna.
With the purchase of Yays, Numa expands its portfolio of hotel and commercial real estate and becomes one of the leading providers in the DACH and Benelux regions.
Greenberg Traurig lawyers advised on all significant legal aspects of the acquisition, including the purchase agreement and financing.
This is the first transaction on which Greenberg Traurig has advised Numa, winning the mandate through a competitive pitch process.
