NREP Logicenters, the logistics arm of Nordic private equity firm Nordic Real Estate Partners, has made its first acquisition in Norway with the purchase of two properties offering a combined 15,000 m2.

The assets, located in Berger along the E6 highway between Oslo and the Gardermoen Airport, were acquired for an undisclosed amount by NREP Nordic Strategies Fund I, a fund managed by NREP.

'The assets are excellent additions to our strategy of developing and owning properties in prime logistics locations, benefitting from a long-term trend of increasing demand and a current shortage of supply.' commented Rickard S. Dahlberg, co-CIO of NREP.

Jens Petter Hagen, head of NREP’s office in Oslo, added: 'These transactions mark our first logistics investments in Norway where the market is lacking large and specialised players like NREP Logicenters and where we have an ambition to continue to grow.'

NREP Logicenters owns over one million m1 of space in the Nordics with a turnover of more than €50 mln.
