ESG-focused real estate investor Nrep has established a joint venture with a German family office to build up a sustainable logistics portfolio in Germany.
The first joint project is a 18,500 m2 brownfield development in Mannheim.
Nrep's logistics property development and management platform Logicenters and German investment and Cologne-based asset management company evolutiq will act as developers and asset managers for the joint venture.
Evolutiq acquired the 28,000-m2 development site at Friesenheimer Strasse 2-4 in Mannheim's Bonadieshafen.
Completion is planned for the first quarter of 2025, and the search for tenants is currently underway.
The property will be located in the immediate vicinity of Mannheim city centre with connections to Frankfurt and southern Germany. Mannheim City Airport can be reached in less than 20 minutes by car.
