Real estate investor NREP is understood to have launched the sale of a €400 mln student housing portfolio in Denmark.
According to market sources, the Northern European investor has hired advisor CBRE to market the package in what is believed to be the largest student sale ever in the Nordic region.
News website ReactNews first reported the sale.
The assets, branded as UMEUS, are believed to include Amager with 343 studios in Copenhagen, located right next to the IT University and UCPH's South Campus, and Nordhavn which opened in 2022 and encompasses 275 studios.
NREP also has two other Umeus assets due to open later this year; Umeus Valby and Umeus Frederiksberg.
NREP declined to comment on the sale.
In November last year, the firm together with AG Gruppen sold a newly built residential property located in the South Harbour area of Copenhagen to CapMan Residential Fund (CMRF) for DKK 1.24 bn (€170 mln).
