Global alternative residential asset manager Node has appointed Ian Gibbs as chief operating officer (COO) and global head of operations.
Gibbs will be responsible for scaling Node’s pan-European and North American operating platform as it seeks to execute operationally on its 7,000+ bed pipeline, with 4,000 beds planned to be operational by 2025.
These include next generation, purpose built flexible living and coliving buildings in London, Dublin, Madrid and Barcelona.
Having worked in the real estate operations and customer service industries for over 25 years,prior to Node, Gibbs headed up the executive leadership of neighbourhoods and operations at Get Living, whose investors include Oxford Properties, Qatari Diar, APG and Aware Super.
Prior to Get Living, Gibbs held senior regional director and central operational roles at David Lloyd Clubs, and regional management positions at Starbucks, and brings a customer centric and operational insights and an institutionally scalable approach to the emerging coliving sector.
