Worp joined Edge in 2008 as commercial director, rising quickly to the post of managing director. In his more than 15 years with Edge, he significantly contributed to Edge's expansion in Germany.

Working closely with the German team, Worp was instrumental in the development of around 250,000 m2 of innovative, sustainable and state-of-the-art office space in the German market.

Key projects include two DGNB Platinum-certified buildings at Berlin Central Station, the Vattenfall HQ EDGE Südkreuz, awarded with a DGNB Diamond for its innovative wood hybrid structure, and the recently completed Edge East Side, owned by Pimco Prime Real Estate and fully leased by Amazon.

Coen van Oostrom, CEO and founder of Edge said: ‘Nikolai was one of the first colleagues at Edge and worked for us for over 15 years. We appreciate his contribution and commitment to the growth of our business in Germany and wish him all the best for the future.’

Andreas Muschter, CEO DACH, Edge, added: ‘I had 15 successful months with Nikolai and would have loved to continue working with him. We fully respect his decision to move back to his family and are sure that we will continue to find ways to do business together in the future.’

Edge is currently developing around €5 bn of new office buildings.
