Real estate private equity firm Niam has acquired a newly built office property located in Helsinki from developer Skanska for SEK 315 mln (€30 mln).
The property, named Aviabulevardi II, is situated near Helsinki's Vantaa Airport, in the Aviapolis business district. According to Niam, it is positioned right next to the new Aviapolis train station and Aviabulevardi I, which Niam acquired from Skanska in March 2017.
The 8,000 m2 property, which was completed in November 2018, is fully let to a diversified mix of tenants. A Gold Leed enivoronmental certificate has been agreed.
'We strongly believe that the micro location, in combination with modern premises and expanded service as the area develops, provides an attractive offer to tenants,' said Fredrik Jonsson, Niam CEO.
'The Helsinki office market continues to be a very attractive investment market which we believe will continue to improve.'
