Northern European private equity firm Niam has raised €1.1 bn of equity at the final close of its latest opportunistic real estate fund, which it says is now the largest private real estate fund in the Nordics.
Investors in Niam Nordic VII range from public and corporate pension funds to sovereign wealth funds, family offices, foundations, insurance companies, fund of funds and financial institutions from around the world. The fund targets all property types across the Nordic countries.
'We are extremely thankful to our investors who continue to support us and also to the new investors who have chosen us as their Nordic partner. We exceeded our target by over 35% and are confident with the opportunities in the Nordic market,' said Fredrik Jonsson, CEO of Niam.
Niam worked closely with law firm Osborne Clarke to raise Niam VII.
