The portfolio was acquired from 2E Group for a price understood to be DKK 400 mln (€54 mln).

Niam will take ownership of the first 44 apartments on 1 October, 2020, while the remaining 105 units will be built and delivered successively during the coming year.

‘These high-quality apartments located in attractive areas are a great addition to our property portfolio and we believe that they will be attractive residentials for our tenants,’ said Michael Berthelsen, country manager at Niam.

The acquisition is the latest by Niam in Denmark over the past two years. In April, it bought 238 modern, terraced houses totalling around 23,000 m2 near to Vejle, Denmark from Omnia Invest A/S.
