Nordic private equity company Niam has emerged as the buyer of the former Karolinska University Hospital from Stockholm County Council for around SEK 2.3 bn (€230 mln).
Under the deal, the largest transaction in the Nordics so far this year, Niam is taking the full risk for the outcome of the zoning process.
The property is located in the major Hagastaden development area in Solna, just north of Stockholm and provides 110,000 m2 of total area.
