Northern European private equity firm Niam has appointed Michael Berthelsen as new country manager of Denmark.
Berthelsen joined Niam in May 2011 as a director on the Danish acquisitions team. He holds over 23 years of real estate experience.
On 1 February Jacob de Lichtenberg will also join the Danish team as associate director, primarily working with asset management.
'Niam will continue to be very active in the Danish real estate and transaction market,' said Fredrik Jonsson, Niam’s CEO. 'By having Michael Berthelsen take over as country manager and hiring Jacob de Lichtenberg, we look to further strengthen an already high performing team.'
