Dutch developers Bouwfonds and OVG have agreed the sale to NH Hotels of a four-star hotel to be developed in the Wilhelminapier central area of Rotterdam. The hotel will be part of De Rotterdam project, which has been designed by architect Rem Koolhaas of OMA Architecten. The hotel will comprise some 266 luxury rooms and a 2,000 m[sup]2[/sup] congress facility. The financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.

De Rotterdam project will provide a total of 160,000 m2 of mixed-use space, with about 220 apartments and 70,000 m2 of commercial and parking space to be built next to the hotel.
