Nyhrén joins from Swedish company Hemsö where he was head of property, and will start his new role sometime during spring 2020.

The role as COO covers all of Newsec’s property asset management business with some 1,600 co-workers and 40 million m2 under management across the Nordics and Baltics.

'We are on an exciting path right now, grow rapidly and invest in building the property asset management company of the future, with everything that comes with it in terms of digitalized processes and smart ways of working. To make sure we keep up the pace and deliver according to plan, we now hire Rikard as COO. We especially appreciate his solid industry background and experience from running complex change projects with many stakeholders. We believe he will be able to help us focus on the right things,' said Björn Lindeborg, head of Newsec Property Asset Management.

'I’m looking forward to getting to know a new organization and think it will be especially exciting to work in an international role. I hope that I can add value by supporting the development of qualitative processes across national borders so that clients get an equivalent Newsec experience independent of the country. I’ve got a positive impression of Newsec, both in terms of the business objectives at hand, and in terms of the warm and inclusive culture I’ve encountered,' added Nyhrén.
