Henrik Granström has been appointed managing director of Newsec, replacing Urban Edenström who will resume his role as CEO of the holding company Stronghold and chairman of the wholly owned subsidiaries Newsec, Niam and Datscha.

Henrik Granström has been appointed managing director of Newsec, replacing Urban Edenström who will resume his role as CEO of the holding company Stronghold and chairman of the wholly owned subsidiaries Newsec, Niam and Datscha.

In addition to his new role, Granström will continue to hold his current position as Vice President of Stronghold. Granström will assume his new position on 1 July.

Granström with a consulting background in McKinsey, commenced his career at Stronghold in 2002 as an Executive Trainee. He was also the managing director of Datscha for a period of five years. Henrik Granström will assume his position on 1 July 2012, while continuing to hold his current position as Vice President of Stronghold.

The appointments are part of Newsec's new decentralised structure which has seen the company expand its country managers' mandate and responsibilities.

Newsec offers a range of services within its advice, asset management and transactions business areas to property owners, investors and occupiers.
