Andreas Ewald has been appointed as new managing director of Engel & Völkers Investment Consulting (EVIC), running the company alongside managing partner Kai Wolfram.

Ewald, a trained real estate economist, will focus on developing the transaction advisory and due diligence divisions as well as the new business segment non-performing loans (NPL) launched at the beginning of 2016 – with a focus on international business.

EVIC is the holding company for Engel & Völkers, the largest real estate broker network on the German market. EVIC focuses on structuring portfolio marketing processes and purchasing mandates for institutional real estate investors via the Engel & Völkers network. In the first nine months of this year, the Frankfurt-based company secured transactions for its purchase and divestment mandates with individual properties and sub-portfolios of around €333 mln.
