New management team appointed at Catella Property Benelux

Property adviser Catella has announced the appointment of Maxime Xantippe as managing director of Catella Property Benelux. Cedric Mali and Maxime Kumpen will join Xantippe as the new management team of the Benelux unit.

Xantippe was with CB Richard Ellis for seven years , where he was managing partner, leading the investment department. He started his career in the corporate banking department of ING and has been active in the real estate sector for the last ten years.

Xantippe and Kumpen have both been appointed managing partners at Catella Property Benelux. Kumpen has been with CBRE for 4 years and most recently as partner in the investment department. Maxime Kumpen started his career at Ashurst, the international law firm and thereafter joined Jones Lang LaSalle. Over the last few years, both have been closely involved in the majority of the large transactions that have been executed in Belgium and Luxemburg.

Mali, Head of Letting & Sales at Catella Property Benelux, is also being appointed managing partner. He has been at Catella for 8 years and has effectively built Catella’s strong position on the Benelux property market.

Until Maxime Xantippe has started in his new role Stephane Guyot-Sionnest will continue to act as temporary managing director and after that he will continue as a member of the board of Catella Property Belgium.
