CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) has appointed Neville Moss as Head of Retail Research for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Moss, formerly Head of EMEA Retail Research at Jones Lang LaSalle, will help to drive CBRE’s EMEA-wide retail research programme and support the further development of CBRE’s leading cross-border retail proposition, working alongside an industry-leading EMEA research team and an international retail team. Moss brings more than 20 years’ experience in research and consultancy for retailers and retail property companies to his new position.

Commenting on the appointment, Nick Axford, Senior Managing Director, Global Research, CBRE, said: 'We are delighted to have attracted such a high-calibre retail specialist. Neville brings with him a wealth of knowledge and diverse experience which will further strengthen both our research capability and support the leadership of our wider cross-border retail business. Neville is highly regarded within the retail property sector and will undoubtedly make a substantial contribution to CB Richard Ellis.'

Neville Moss, Head of EMEA Retail Research, CBRE, said: 'I am thrilled to be joining the world’s leading commercial property consultancy and working with the first-class EMEA research team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to lead the retail research agenda for the region and to support and enhance CBRE’s retail business as it grows from strength to strength.'

Moss' appointment follows other recent recruitment announcements by CBRE in the research area, including that of Jonathan De Mello to its UK Retail business. De Mello joined CBRE from Experian Property Consultancy earlier this year to head up its UK Retail Consultancy team.
