Spanish retail outlet operator Neinver has unveiled plans to develop a new outlet scheme in France. The complex, called Alpes The Style Outlets, will be the company's second in the country.
Expected to open in 2020, Alpes The Style Outlets will be located close to the Swiss border between Geneva and Lyon, with a catchment area of 5.3 million inhabitants.
The project, to be presented at the Mapic trade fair, will feature 19,000 m2 of gross leasable area (GLA) over 90 units.
'We continue growing our outlet portfolio through selected opportunities in Europe. This project will further consolidate our position in France - an important market for our growth strategy - where the company opened Roppenheim The Style Outlets back in 2012,' said Carlos González, Neviner's managing director.
The development gives further momentum to Neinver's European expansion strategy which has recently seen the company enter both the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
