Over 31,000 people attended the opening of Factory Warsaw Annopol last week, the fifth outlet to be opened by Spanish group Neinver in Poland and its second in Warsaw.
The centre has 19,700 m2 of gross lettable area and comprises 122 shops and 800 parking spaces. It is the first outlet centre in east Warsaw, which has a catchment area of some three million people.
Neinver has invested €35 mln in this project, carried out in accordance with sustainable construction principles which have been verified by a BREEAM certificate at the design stage.
Brands available at Factory Warsaw Annopol include Tommy Hilfiger, Mustang, Adidas, and Nike. Neinver now manages 15 outlet centres with a total of 311,000 m2 of GLA, under the Factory and The Style Outlets brands in Europe.
The five centres in Poland comprise a total of 84,000 m2 of GLA. Poland’s first outlet centre was Factory Warsaw Ursus, opened in 2002. The subsequent ones emerged in Wroclaw (2006) and Poznan (2007). The country’s largest outlet centre (22,000 m2 of retail space) is Factory Kraków which has been operating since the autumn of 2011.
