Spanish property company Neinver and Netherlands-based developer MAB have announced they are to create an outlet centre in Werl in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.

Spanish property company Neinver and Netherlands-based developer MAB have announced they are to create an outlet centre in Werl in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany.

The partners have acquired land for the centre along motorway A445 and national highway B1. Further details of the scheme will be announced at a later date.

Neinver is Europe's second largest outlet center operator. The company currently manages 15 outlet centres across Europe, including 'Zweibrücken The Style Outlets', the biggest outlet centre in Germany.

MAB Development specialises in the development of major retail properties in the Netherlands, France and Germany.

MAB and Neinver ezstablished a strategic alliance to implement sustainable retail projects in 2009.

The project in Werl follows their first joint project, 'Roppenheim The Style Outlet', an outlet centre in the Alsace region of France close to the German border which opened in April 2012.
