Neinor Home is investing €30 mln in a two-building residential complex in Vitoria-Gasteiz, some 65 km south of Bilbao in north-eastern Spain.
The Zabalgana Homes development consists of two towers of thirteen and fourteen floors respectively, offering a total of 135 affordable homes.
The complex will comprise 48 three-bedroom homes, 81 two-bedroom homes and six adapted two-bedroom homes, all of them with two bathrooms.
In addition, it will have landscaped areas and bicycle racks for the use and enjoyment of all its owners.
Íñigo Ibarra, territorial director of Neinor Homes' Northern Region, explained: ‘This project represents an important step forward for the company in the development of affordable housing in the Basque Country, applying our quality and energy efficiency standards to subsidized housing.’
The design of the development is based on construction solutions such as a ventilated façade that will reduce energy demand and electricity consumption.
The homes will have practical layouts, with separate day and night areas, optimized spaces and large windows that provide natural lighting.
The new urban development will have ample pedestrian areas, gardens and children's playgrounds in the immediate vicinity, with a full range of shopping and leisure facilities, and educational and health centers.
