The new hotel will have 400 rooms and will be a first-rate business hotel located close to the control tower and be linked to Sky City and the airport terminals.
'Stockholm Airport City can now continue to develop positively despite the prevailing economic climate. Clarion Hotel Arlanda will improve service for travellers and businesses in the region,' said Stefan Stenberg, head of LFV Stockholm-Arlanda Real Estate.
Project design will commence at the beginning of January 2010 and initial ground work will begin in August of the same year. The hotel is scheduled to open in November 2012.
NCC is one of the leading construction and property development companies in the Nordic region with sales of SEK 57 bn last year.
