Swedish builder-developer NCC has sold a speculative office project in the Norwegian capital Oslo to an investment syndicate.

The syndicate was facilitated by RS Platou Real Estate and Malling & Co Eiendomskapital in the acquisition of the office project Østensjøveien 27 for SEK 490 mln (€54 mln).

'Østensjøveien 27 is a modern and sustainable project based on innovative thinking. It has been selected as one of the world's 100 most sustainable solutions at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development', said Carola Lavén, president of NCC Property Development.

The property was designed by Danish architects firm Henning Larsen Architects. It comprises 16,800 m2 over six floors and has a high environmental profile. NCC is aiming for a BREEAM rating of at least Very Good.

The project will be completed in December 2013 and is already 94% let to NCC, Norsk Dental Depot, Weifa, Mysoft and Constructor Norge. NCC is responsible for letting the remaining vacant space during 10 years and has provided rental guarantees for this period.
