Swedish property group NCC is to develop a 50,000 m2 office complex for Nordic telecoms firm TeliaSonera in Stockholm.
TeliaSonera will move into the new building in the Kristineberg area of the Swedish capital in January 2017.
The lease is conditional upon a detailed development plan and regulatory approval being obtained in 2013. Construction work is scheduled to commence at the beginning of 2014.
The property will be a green building, certified in line with the BREEAM international rating system.
The Kristineberg district is currently being incorporated into Stockholm’s inner city as part of its expansion. The ambition is to link together Western Kungsholmen’s various districts so that they will be perceived as being more vibrant than in the past. Kristineberg will feature new housing, workplaces, shops and a square.
