Global real estate asset manager AEW has purchased a prime office building in Brussels from AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets (AXA IMRA) for €54 mln.
On behalf of OPCI Franceurope Immo, NAMI-AEW Europe, an affiliate of AEW Europe, acquired the 16, 146 m2 Louise Center office building located on Louise Avenue in the centre of Brussels. The building, rated BREEAM 'excellent', was recently renovated.
'This new acquisition perfectly illustrates the evolution of our investment strategy, which now includes an asserted European dimension,' commented Arsène Marques, deputy managing director at NAMI–AEW Europe. 'The Louise Center reflects our determination to position ourselves on prime locations with a good depth in the rental and investment markets.'
The property is currently 90% occupied with over 30 tenants, including The United Nations and Altavia.
