Multi Corporation CEO Heino Vink and Peter Wilhelm, CEO of Wilhelm and Co, have joined the expert panel for PropertyEU's Investment Briefing on the Benelux markets.

The event is being hosted at the Realty Brussels real estate trade fair and takes place on the morning of Tuesday 22 May.

Multi is the largest shopping centre developer in Europe, while Wilhelm and Co is a leading Brussels-based developer of multifunctional projects in Europe. The panel also includes Tristan Dhondt, Real Estate Leader, Belgium at Ernst & Young.

The panel discussion will focus on the outlook for valuations and the various property sectors, cities and asset classes in the Benelux markets. The speakers will also highlight the main risks and opportunities for investors seeking to access the markets in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

The Benelux Investment Briefing is part of the European Real Estate Policy & Investment Forum, which runs from 09.30-14.00 and leads into the official opening of Realty.

The forum is being organised by PropertyEU in association with the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA) and the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Funds (INREV).

Besides the panel discussion on investing in the Benelux, the forum provides a meeting point for senior leaders in real estate investment and development to discuss the impact of upcoming regulatory changes on the outlook for investment in European real estate.

This part of the event, which begins at 9.30 am on Tuesday, provides an overview and update of the key regulatory changes (including Solvency II, AIFM, CRD IV), what they mean for the real estate industry and the perspective of leading figures on the potential impact on investment and redevelopment in Europe.

The speakers include Ad Buisman, partner, EMEIA Real Estate Leader Ernst & Young; Ian Laming, Chief Operating Officer Tristan Capital Partners and Françoise Roels, Secretary General Cofinimmo.
