Multi Turkmall has opened its Forum Aydin shopping and lifestyle centre in Turkey, the fifth Turkmall scheme to open in the country within the last two years. The opening ceremony was attended by Ertugrul Gunay, the Minister of Culture and Tourism, as well as local government officials.

The 30,000 m2 retail and leisure space is located in Aydin, the largest city in the Aegean region of Turkey with a population of about 300,000 people. The open-air scheme is anchored by a Tesco Kipa hypermarket, a seven-screen cinema of Mars the Cinema Professionals, a YKM department store as well off stores of LC Waikiki, Mudo, Koton, TeknoSA, D&R, Adidas, Burger King, Deichmann, Divarese, Nike, Pierre Cardin, Popeyes, Sbarro, US Polo and Yves Rocher. Forum Aydin includes a total of 120 shops, as well as restaurants and cafes. It has 800 parking spaces.

'Given its scale, investment value, employment opportunities, location and shop mix, Forum Aydin will be a real boost for Aydin’s retail potential,' said Levent Eyuboglu, managing director of Multi Turkmall.

Multi Turkmall said it currently has nine other projects under construction and eight in the pipeline.
