Multi Turkmall has celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of Shopping and Lifestyle Centre Forum Kayseri in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey.

Multi Turkmall has celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction of Shopping and Lifestyle Centre Forum Kayseri in the Central Anatolia region of Turkey.

The Turkish arm of Multi Corporation will be the largest and most modern shopping centre in the region. The opening is scheduled for Autumn 2011. Forum Kayseri is Multi Turkmall’s first development in Central Anatolia. The project is developed as a partnership between Multi Turkmall and Union Investment Real Estate AG.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Mevlüt Bilici, governor of kayseri; Mehmet Ozhaseki, mayor of Kayseri; Memduh Büyükkiliç, mayor of Melikgazi; Bernd Dahlgruen, Union Investment project director; Hans Otto Nagel, chairman of Turkmall; Levent Eyüboglu, ceo of Multi Turkmall; and attended by many members of the press and Multi Turkmall
employees.

Designed as a regional shopping centre in the heart of the city, Forum Kayseri includes a hypermarket, a multi screen cinema, department stores, shops with national and international brands, as well as cafes, restaurants, entertainment areas and parking spaces for 2,000 cars. Forum Kayseri Residence, located in the same area as Forum Kayseri Shopping and Lifestyle Centre will be Multi Turkmall’s first high quality residential estate in Anatolia, which with its modern architecture and unique design will redefine residential standards in Kayseri.
