The existing lowered shopping mall under the Coolsingel in Rotterdam has been regarded as a good example of dual use of space, and Multi is planning to apply the same principle in the new shopping area. The second mall will provide a shopping centre covering about 20,000 m2. The plans include at least two towers along with an ABN AMRO low-rise office building on the Coolsingel, providing 45,000 m2 of residential, office and leisure space.
