Multi Development has announced that Marmara Forum, its second project in Istanbul, will open in early 2011. Marmara Forum consists of a shopping centre and garden office.
Marmara Forum Garden Office involves an investment of EUR 600 mln. It is the first mixed-use project of Multi Development Turkey that has opened eight Forum shopping centres in eight different cities in Turkey with EUR 2.1 bn investment to date.
The project is situated in the Bakirkoy district on 106,000 m2 of space. Its construction area is 375,000 m2. Bakirkoy is one of the most densely populated and commercially dynamic districts in Istanbul.
Area, an international real estate consultancy firm, holds a 50 % share of Marmara Forum. The architectural design is by Tabanlioglu Architecture.
