Multi Development, the Netherlands-based developer and investor, has won the EG European Retail Property Company Award 2006 at Mapic in Cannes. The jury, chaired by Nigel Woolnar (Chapman Taylor and chairman of the British Council of Shopping Centers) picked Multi as the most successful European cross-border developer from a shortlist that featured London-based Hammerson and Portugal's Sonae Sierra.
