Multi Development has celebrated the opening of Forum Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic. A large crowd of visitors attended the opening of the largest shopping and leisure centre in the region on 12 November 2009.

Forum Ústí nad Labem offers more than 100 shops, restaurants & cafes on 27,000 m2. The mall is in the centre of the city in the area of the formerly run down market hall close to the historic church of Nanebevzetí pany Marie. The project has restored and completed the original urban pattern of the town - damaged by the war and neglect - and revitalises the square in front of the church.

The concept was inspired by the medieval town walls with town gates and reflects the original block development by dividing the project with a new version of an original Bílinská street. It recreates a lively, pulsing environment in the town centre.

A cable car will shortly connect the Forum with Chateau Vetruse on the opposite hill.

The project is bringing many new retailers to Ústí, strenghtening its position as the regional shopping destination. Brands such as H&M, Lindex, Douglas, Camaieu, Celio, Pimkie, Tally Weijl, Jeans Club and Giga Sport will be presented for the first time to the region. Billa supermarket is the food anchor with an area of 1200 m2.

The project has 640 new parking places and the total investment in Forum Ústí nad Labem was EUR 68 mln.
