Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil is investing €70 mln in a luxury condominium next to the Douro River, at Quinta da China near Porto.

Aurios

Aurios

The project will be implemented through the company’s real estate branch Emerge - Mota-Engil Real Estate Developers.

Located on a hillside, Aurios will consist of 26 villas and 22 flats, in an area of 15,583 m2, with completion scheduled for Q1 2025.

The development includes community living spaces, such as outdoor pool, sauna, Turkish bath, gym and multi-purpose room.

A major asset is the commitment to environmental sustainability, with emphasis on ecologically sustainable materials, such as cork and granite, to minimise the ecological footprint.

The property will include photovoltaic solar panels, combined with efficient water heating and air conditioning systems that guarantee optimised energy solutions.

The aim is to reduce the environmental impact, but also to minimise residents' consumption of electricity and water.

Designed by VMA Arquitetura, the development will be marketed by JLL and Predibisa.
