Egetenmeir said the drop in attendance is relatively moderate 'considering what the industry has gone through the past year'. German participation at the fair has also remained strong as has the number of finance providers. 'Lower participation came from the Gulf, Russia and the US, which is understandable because these markets have been particularly hard hit,' Egetenmeir said.
