The instruction is for an amount in the lower three-digit million range, which can subsequently be increased. Over the next 24 months, the firm will target investments in core-plus and core office properties in prime locations in Germany's top seven cities and selected 'B' locations.

Montano will take over the asset management of the properties.

Ramin Rabeian, managing partner of Montano, commented: ‘We are delighted with the confidence placed in Montano. This demonstrates that institutional investors, with their specific requirements, also appreciate our team's real estate expertise and extensive networking in the local German markets. The first potential properties to be acquired under this instruction are already under consideration.’

Montano Asset Management is an independent investment and asset management platform, focusing on core-plus and value-add real estate assets in Germany. Headquartered in Munich and with branch offices in Berlin and Frankfurt, Montano manages 64 properties across Germany, valued at around €1.6 bn.
