Global supply chain manager ModusLink is leasing a further 5,000 m2 of space within CTP Invest's business park located in Brno, the Czech Republic's second largest city. The expansion of ModusLink involves 4,700 m2 of warehouses, 240 m2 of office space and over 500 m2 of service area.

Additionally, the company has extended its existing lease agreement on almost 9,000 m2 of warehouse space, 1,400 m2 of offices and 1,000 m2 of service area within the park.

'By renegotiating and prolonging the contract closed originally in 2006, we have succeeded to secure rent discounts and substantial cost savings,' said Karel Stránský, managing partner of Colliers International which represented ModusLink in the negotiation process. According to Stránský, the expansion of ModusLink is an example of international companies coming back into the Czech Republic.

Following the new lease agreement, the CTPark Brno park is now fully leased. CTPark Brno offers over 151,000 m2 of leasable space for warehousing and light manufacture. Major tenants include Acer, Darfron Electronics, Qisda, and Inventec.
