Moda and Samsung will work together to build entire neighbourhoods equipped for the future, underpinned by innovation. These will offer a range of fully furnished tech-enabled apartments in addition to several communal facilities such as lounges, dining rooms, gyms, and flexible workspaces for maximum convenience and to help create a sense of community.

There is now a pipeline-wide supplier agreement in place for more than 60,000 appliances spanning Moda’s neighbourhoods across the living sector. The partnership was agreed at Samsung HQ in South Korea and the brand is already working across several thousand apartments in its platform, the companies said.  The goal is to build a truly smart ecosystem by giving residents everything they need without leaving their Moda neighbourhoods.

Oscar Brooks, director at Moda Living, said: 'Moda’s core focus is to create stylish, high-quality, sustainable neighbourhoods for residents to live, work and play, but we also recognise the importance of investing in state-of-the-art technology to enhance connectivity, simplicity and efficiency in residents’ day to day lives. Championing innovation and beautiful design, Samsung presented a natural partner to supply appliances in-keeping with our future-thinking values and aesthetics.'

He added: 'Our number one priority is for technology to help Moda’s residents to feel happy and safe in their home, whilst making their lives that bit easier. The proposition of the Smart home is important for our future residents and will help distinguish our brand from the competition. Samsung is setting new standards for connected living and we are looking forward to driving our partnership forward.'
