Canadian investor Ivanhoe Cambridge has announced at MIPIM 2016 that it has mandated BNP Paribas Real Estate Transaction to let the Tours Do office complex in Paris.

Tour Duo has been nominated at the MIPIM Awards 2016 in the People's Choice Award category.

The property is a urban scheme with 90,000 m2 of offices in the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in the Paris Rive Gauche Urban Development Zone (ZAC). Developed by Jean Nouvel, on behalf of Ivanhoé Cambridge, the Duo project consists of two towers: Duo 1 (180 metres and 39 floors, making it one of the six highest buildings in France) and Duo 2 (122 metres and 27 floors).

Ivanhoé Cambridge, real estate subsidiary of the Quebec Deposit and Investment Fund, was behind the building of Tour T1 at La Défense and the purchase of the former PSA headquarters, on Avenue de la Grande Armée, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

Selected for its collegiate approach and subject to a competitive bidding process overseen by the City of Paris, the mixed scheme will boast offices, stores, a hotel, restaurants, a panoramic bar and an auditorium.

The Duo project also features accessible terraces and gardens, offering an island of green in the middle of the city.

The provisional completion date for this building is in 2020, with BNP Paribas Real Estate Transaction acting as letting agents.
