BNP Paribas Real Estate has launched Hexagon Apartments, its first residential development scheme in London to coincide with the MIPIM international real estate fair taking place in Cannes this week.
A model of the Hexagon Apartments, which are located in Covent Garden, is on display on the stand of BNP Paribas Real Estate (R7-E73 Hall Riviera) throughout MIPIM.
The Covent Garden site currently houses a 1960s former office building, which is undergoing a complete rejuvenation to become a new addition to central London living, with 59 apartments in total.
Scheduled for completion in Q4 2017, this 15-storey tower will comprise 46 meticulously designed one, two and three bedroom homes, as well as penthouses for market sale. In addition the scheme will provide 13 affordable homes on site. The apartments benefit from panoramic views, with the glazing and façades of the building designed to offer attractive vistas from every apartment, and showcase this building’s location, BNP Paribas
Architects Michaelis Boyd and A&Q have been brought together to execute this transformation, using the building's unusual hexagonal shape to create captivating internal spaces. Embellished with a bespoke approach to the interior design, which is very much tailored to the location, Hexagon Apartments offers a prime product in a paradigm-shifting context.
To complement this attention to detail, Hexagon Apartments will also offer the highest quality services around the clock from luxury concierge company Qube. The hotel-style concierge assistance will handle all residents’ needs, from restaurant reservations to travel arrangements and dry cleaning.
Thierry Laroue-Pont, CEO of BNP Paribas Real Estate, commented: 'Hexagon Apartments demonstrates our ambition to expand our successful international development business in London. After our first office development at King’s Cross, which has been a huge success, wholly let to Google, this project will launch our residential ambitions in the UK. We are also looking at other promising sites in line with this strategy to grow our development business in the UK.'
