Fair organiser Reed Midem has announced that the second edition of Mipim Horizons, the international property market dedicated to the world's fast-growing regions, will coincide with the annual Mipim fair in Cannes next year from 16-19 March.

'In the current economic climate, where companies are looking to make the most of their time at Mipim and Mipim Horizons, while also controlling their costs, it is a logical move to bring the two events together in 2010,' said Thierry Renault, Reed Midem's Deputy Managing Director. 'This synergy will be beneficial for delegates of both Mipim and Mipim Horizons,' he added.

The first edition of MIPIM Horizons held from 2-4 December 2008, attracted some 1,200 property professionals, significantly less than the 3,000 participants the organisers had originally targeted. Mipim 2009 attracted 18,000 visitors compared with a record 29,318 visitors in 2008.
