The winners of the 2023 edition of the MIPIM Awards have been revealed in Cannes.
The competition, which recognises completed or yet to be built projects, this year focused especially on ESG criteria such as sustainability, integration into the environment and community, quality of the user experience, economic contribution, originality of the concept and architectural qualities.
Winners include the Nexity project of The Deloitte University EMEA in Bailly-Romainvilliers – Val d’Europe (France) as Best Alternative Project.
Lanserhof Sylt in Sylt (Germany) developed by LHS Grund 5 GmbH won the Best Hospitality, Tourism & Leisure Project category.
Audemars Piguet is the winner of the Best Industrial & Logistics Project for New manufacture de haute horlogerie Audemars Piguet in Le Locle (Switzerland).
Emergie won two recognitions for Morland Mixité Capitale in Paris as Best Mixed-Use Project and also a Special Jury Award.
BNP Paribas Immobilier took the Best Refurbished Building category for the Metal 57 in Boulogne-Billancourt (France).
The Sluishuis in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), developed by Besix Red and Vorm Ontwikkeling, was recognised as the Best Residential Project.
Fabrix took home two awards – Best Urban Regeneration Project for Atelier Gardens in Berlin (Germany) and Best New Development for London-based Roots in the Sky.
The jury chaired by François Trausch, CEO & CIO of Pimco Prime Real Estate shortlisted 43 of the projects from 22 countries for the final ceremony in the Palais de Festivals in Cannes.
