Arrow Capital Partners has appointed Martijn Adelaar as senior asset manager for the Benelux region.
Prior to joining Arrow, he was an asset manager at Blackstone’s last-mile logistics platform Mileway, which was recently recapitalised, and where he was responsible for the commercial asset management of more than €300 mln of properties. Among his previous roles, he was also an asset manager at M7 Real Estate and at Annexum.
He will report to Martien van Deursen, head of Benelux, and be based in Amsterdam to help oversee Arrow’s €400 mln-plus Benelux portfolio.
Van Deursen said: ‘Despite the economic headwinds, we’re continuing to bring forward developments to feed the significant and persistent supply and demand imbalance between occupiers looking for sustainable last-mile logistics and available stock across the region.’
Arrow targets equity and debt opportunities and invests with US and Asia-Pacific investors into Europe, as well as European and US investors into the Asia-Pacific region. It has 60 people in 12 countries and $5 bn (€5 bn) under management.
