European private equity group MGPA has leased the Light Building office scheme in Milan to insurance group Aviva, which intends to use the building as its new Italian headquarters.
Located at via Scarsellini 14, next to the Affori M3 station, to the north of the city, Light Building provides a total of 20,000 m2 of offices over 11 storeys.
'We were looking for a building that was highly accessible to all our employees,' commented Patrick Dixneuf, CEO of Aviva Italia. 'Other important elements for us were the flexibility and the modernity of the accommodation.' The group is relocating its 500 staff to the scheme.
Jones Lang LaSalle advised MGPA on the deal.
